ASA manufactures <strong>glass and metal tube flowmeters, electromagnetic flowmeters, flow indicators and panels for flow measurement according to specific painting cycles, supplied by customer.
The cycles of surface treatment, application of primer and finishing can be of any type. We treat surfaces by phosphating treatment, by surface corrosion treatment, by powder coating or spray painting.
The type of color (RAL or Pantone) is made at the specific request of the customer and product lines are realized “customized” with the colors and brand of the applicant company.
Our painting cycles are in accordance with the following international standards:
– ISO 2409 Paints and Varnishes – Cross-cut test
– ISO 4624 Paints and Varnishes – Pull-off test for adhesion
– ISO 4628-2-3-4-5-6 Paints and Varnishes – Evaluation of degradation of coatings
(Designation of quantity and size of defects, and of intensity of uniform changes in appearance – Part 2: Assessment of degree of blistering; Part 3: Assessment of degree of rusting; – Part 4: Assessment of degree of cracking; Part 5: Assessment of degree of flaking; Part 6: Assessment of degree of chalking by tape method).
– ISO 8501-1-3 Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness.
(Part 1: Rust grades and preparation grades of uncoated steel substrates and steel substrates after overall removal of previous coatings; Part 3: Preparation grades of welds, cut edges and surface imperfections).
– ISO 8502-3-4-6-9 Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products – Tests for the assessment of surface cleanliness.
(Part 3: Assessment of dust on steel surfaces prepared for painting (pressure-sensitive tape method); Part 4, Guidance on the estimation of the probability of condensation prior to paint application; Part 6: Extraction of soluble contaminants for analysis – The Bresle Method; Part 9, Field method for the conductometric determination of water-soluble salts).
– ISO 8503-2 Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products – Surface roughness characteristics of blast-cleaned steel substrates.
(Part 2: Method for the grading of surface profile of abrasive blast-cleaned steel – Comparator procedure).
– ISO 8504-2-3 Preparation of steel substrates before application of paints and related products – Surface preparation methods (Part 2, Abrasive blast-cleaning; Part 3, Hand- and power- tool cleaning).
